My name is Roosa, I'm 28 and from Finland. I like to write poetry, drink tons of tea, travel, send snailmail, learn languages and paint. I also love animals, and I handfeed wild birds in our garden every winter. I've been learning Arabic for almost 3 years now, and I still feel like a beginner, though my knowledge of grammar and vocabulary has become larger lately. My biggest dream is to become fluent in Arabic. I'm especially interested in Levantine dialect, but at the moment I need to focus on fusha and MSA first. I hope to find new Arabic-speaking female friends / penpals to encourage me with my studies. Maybe we could even practise together. I'm willing to help you with Finnish, and my English is quite good as well. Hi all, I´m Jose Luis from Buenos Aires (Argentina), I´m a math teacher but I love learning foreign languages using Internet (mainly Skype or Hangouts): I made many friends helping them with Spanish (I am very patient and I enjoy teaching) and being helped with English, French and German. Hi! My name is Aleksandra and I'm 24 years old ^_^ This summer i'm going to spend 2 months on a research mission organised by my university in a foreign country. However over the years my English speaking skills have seriously declined - or maybe i'm just stressing over it too much. I read scientific papers and have British & Australian penpals so i guess it's not that bad... But the thought of speaking English fills me with panic!!! I just don't have many opportunities to practise speaking English in my life. That's why i would like to find someone to chat in person once or twice a week over the next few weeks (and maybe later too?). I really love learning new things about people and the world, so we don't have to be similar at all. Having penpals from all over the world has taught me so many things and i truly enjoy being exposed to new concepts ^_^
