Since my spoken Norwegian is really poor, I am looking for a native speaker to give me a bit of practice in it. I know that it’s difficult to find someone who wants to learn Polish, my native language, but still I do believe I might be lucky to find such people. Hi! My name is Ela and I'm looking for someone with whom I could practice languages. Since I moved to Norway a few months ago I'm trying to focus on bokmål but I also want to improve my communication skills in French and Farsi. I am an American (from Seattle) who moved to Norway back in 2013 and despite many attempts and a good number of classes over the years, I still speak embarrassingly little Norwegian. My comprehension has improved but I have a long way to go with speaking. I am of course happy to just help with English :) Gaining some more functionality in the language would be helpful, perhaps almost more important, would be to get to know some interesting and interested locals from outside of the expat community. I would, perhaps illogically given that I live in Norway, also like to work on my long neglected German. If you happen to be a native German speaker and want to improve your high level English and can handle some very rough attempts to speak your language please get in touch. I am a mechanical engineer (with a physics degree) who is interested in a wide range of topics, from history, psychology, and anthropology to machine tools and science. I am the product of a liberal arts education if that means anything to you. I also enjoy the outdoors and have a dog who is more or less my constant companion.

Hi, Yan Meng here^^ I went for exchange program to Tokyo for one semester in 2019 during my Bachelor's program in NUS. I was able to pick up some basic Japanese conversation skills and I am hoping that I can continue to develop this language skill to more advanced level, maybe understanding Japanese drama/movie/anime. I like hiking, basketball, chess, board games in general. I am not a native English speaker but I use it as mode of communication and academic mostly since young. I speak Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese more frequently with family and close friends.
