中国人ですから、中国語を習いて人、習いたい人に中国語を助けますよ。
日本語の基本的な文法を勉強中、特に口語でも全然弱くて、誰か教えますか。日常的な会話も、貿易に関する会話もいいですよ。
都合がよければ、昼間(中国時間9:00-17:00)にteamsで言語交換にします。

Hi 👋🏻
I’m a native English speaker, fully fluent, and I’d love to help you practice your English. In return, I’m hoping to improve my Mandarin Chinese — I’m a beginner, so be patient with me!
I have a deep interest in Chinese culture in just about every form: history, philosophy, religion and spirituality, traditional medicine, music, arts, movies and dramas, food, and everyday life and daily practices. I’m fascinated by China’s cities, regional differences, and how tradition and modern life sit side by side. I’d love to learn about festivals, tea culture, literature and poetry — and honestly anything you’re passionate about.
I’d describe myself as friendly and curious, and I enjoy steady, consistent practice — short regular conversations rather than occasional long ones. I’m happy to correct your English naturally as we chat, and I’d really appreciate the same help with my Chinese.
If you’d like a more relaxed way to chat, feel free to add me on WeChat: -YangXiSoulAlchemist8
Looking forward to learning together! 你好!
大家好! 👋🏻

I’m currently focusing on Japanese and Chinese, but I’m also interested in many other languages and cultures.

Extra note:
I’m familiar with the common mistakes Korean learners often make, and I can help answer your grammar questions, explain natural expressions, and share insights about Korean culture.
For example:
#1: “잘 지냈어요?” and “어떻게 지내세요?” are not always direct equivalents of “How are you?” in Korean. “잘 지냈어요?” is closer to “How have you been?” and is usually used when you haven’t seen someone for a while. Korean people don’t typically use “How are you?” as a casual greeting in the same way English speakers do.
#2: In Korean culture, the word “친구” usually refers to someone who is the same age as you. You can of course be close to people who are older or younger, but the way you address them and describe the relationship is different. It’s an interesting cultural difference!
If you want to learn more about Korean language and culture, feel free to reach out 😊

Hello everyone!
I am Ed/エド, an English professor in Southern California, U.S.
I want to sustain my upper intermediate Japanese skills through messaging and video meeting on a weekly basis, especially after completing four language classes at the community college in Fall 2022. I like to consider myself trilingual but I'm trying to do better each day.
I am also open to helping others with their English, Spanish, and Japanese proficiency, and while I am primarily studying Japanese (as well as finding other ways to enhance my Spanish conversational fluency and learn new accents there, too) for the most part, my doors are open to learning Korean, Vietnamese, or Chinese as a fourth—and perhaps final—language for me.
I tend to watch domestic and foreign films, see football in either Spanish or Japanese commentary, collect vinyl figures and Funko Pops, listen to 70s and 80s pop music, make new friends, share stories and word of advice, and keep a clean, fit life as well.
★ Enough about me: please contact me! I mainly use LINE, WeChat, and Zoom. ★
