Hi. I'm Steve. I have a background on the creative side of the Film/TV business, both behind and in front of the camera. Over the past couple years, I have been volunteering as an English language coach for new immigrants to California. I have taken a course and earned a certification as an English Language instructor to do this -- with specialized training in pronunciation.
I hold a BA, summa cum laude, from UC Berkeley in California.
My Spanish is at a B-1 to B-2 level. My hobbies include travel, keeping fit, motorcycling (sport bike riding and track days - I am an ex-racer), and bicycling. I follow Premier League Football (aka soccer). I enjoy experiencing live music, stand up comedy and other performances, as well as seeing art on display, in person, which is always better than looking at photos of art. And of course I enjoy quality film and TV. And yes, I also enjoy reading... haha. I am now officially bored and a little embarrassed talking about myself, so I'll just stop. 🤓. I’m Wakana from Sapporo, Japan.
At this moment, I’m looking for someone who lives around Sapporo area to practice practical conversations to improve my language skills, especially Chinese and Korean because it’s necessary for my job.
