Hey I'm Michael and i'm an incoming finance/business student on a pre-law track in a university in the U.S. My hobbies are working out and travelling. I'm trying to become a corporate lawyer, so i'd love to connect with people who already in this type of career or who may see themselves in this career. Chinese: I currently have HSK 4 level, but would like to just meet more people Russian: I have a solid A1 level and know all but 1 of the cases. I really like russian music and history Persian: I have a shakey A2 level and an amazing tutor, but would love to meet more people from Iran. Arabic: I have an A1 level and i am learning MSA right now, but eventually I would like to learn a Gulf dialect, but i would enjoy talking to any speaker. Slovene: My sister and I split an online course fee, so I am currently working through that, but would love to meet some people. I'm visiting Slovenia for the first time this summer, so maybe we could meet up in person. Spanish: I'm mainly learning this for work-related reasons, and also for travelling because I'd like to go to Latin America sometime soon. I also want to broaden my perspectives and learn more about the people who live there.

First of all, thank you for dropping by my page. Making some friends are my focuses to be here :3 I used to have a profile here, although the information was deleted somehow,so created this account again. I'm a laid back person, friendly and mild , tying to be nice to anyone :) would like to be someone you feel comfortable to talk to regardless of gender !! I wish my flexible sense of value and unwitting humor would work haha. I could be fluid and random with fun along the way as well^.^ On the other hand, very honest , shy and down to earth...what else...I think I'm weirdo in a good day ! I'm willing to learn something like the differences such as sense of humor ,culture and what people like to do as general habits in different circumstances. Hi, my name is Joel Bean- I am an English/German (and on occasion Spanish) teacher and former musician from the USA, currently living in Warsaw. I am extremely passionate about languages/culture and how it can help us to develop a much wider understanding of every aspect of life and help to build meaningful relationships with other people. With this in mind, my goal is to be able to take in the culture, language, and perspective of others with an open and curious mind, and to also be able to teach and share my own culture, language, and experience through history, music, philosophy, and other disciplines. I want to be able to foster a sense of "cultural counterpoint"; that is, the ability to see the same basic object via several lenses at once, something which can be a direct outcome of the language learning process. If this sounds good to anybody, and you would like to become a friend, please don't hesitate to reach out- I would especially be happy to meet anybody in person! I really love Steve Kaufmann and his respective methods in particular, and I would love to find others who share a similar enthusiasm for languages and in particular enjoy the process of learning. There are also several other polyglots/language enthusiasts whom I enjoy and I will be happy to name as well :) My German is at a C2 level, my Spanish is just right below, my Portuguese somewhere just under that, and my Ukrainian and Polish are somewhere in the middle (chcę zdać egzamin języka polskiego na poziomie B2 w ciągu najbliższych trzech lat) Met het Nederlands ben ik nog en beginner, maar ik find deze taal eekt leuk (i gemakkelijk) ook ik will een dag uit Polen naar Nederland verhuizen :) I would, in any case, like to refine all of the aforementioned languages to an extremely high level (with the goal of at some point being able to pass an advanced exam for all of those ) Cheers!
