I live in Tokyo with my Japanese wife, and even though she has been teaching me, my Japanese is still rather at a basic level. Hi! I am Amira. I am Egyptian. My mother tongue is Arabic. I am an English teacher in my country. I would like to practice speaking and chatting in English to keep my knowledge alive and develop my fluency in different fields rather than just academic subjects. I like learning languages in general. I arrange to learn Italian and Turkish one day in the future. I love reading and one of my hobbies is to keep learning! Here I am, refusing to pay for Duolingo Pro and realizing I'm only able to muster up a few words on command in each of these languages. I would love to find someone patient to practice with on a daily basis. I studied linguistics and have always been very much interested in languages and how we communicate with one another.
