I work in education and am also a freelance writer. However, I have recently become fascinated by language study and wish to improve my language knowledge via this site. If possible I would like to start through writing (texting,emails) while i build my vocabulary and grammar ......and my confidence! My name is Mel and I'm a grade 4 teacher. English is my home language. I love all things Korean ( country, language, culture, k-drama etc). I visited both Seoul and Busan this year which fuelled my love for the language even more. I taught myself to read and write Hangul and do so quite well, I've been told ( but don't understand what I'm reading) and would love to be able to converse confidently in the language. My hobbies include reading, learning new languages and writing short stories.
