I am 35 years old and work at a museum and as a tourist-guide. I enjoy nature immensely and take a keen interest in history.
Apart from English and my native language of Danish I understand both Swedish and Norwegian. I've studied German in school, so I understand a great deal...but I've become rusty with my own speech. That's why l'm looking for an exchange.

Hello, my name is Mike. I live in a rather small country in Europe, Denmark. I am travelling to visit Japan next spring and therefore wish to learn some Japanese. I of course want to learn the basics for travelling, but I am also hoping to interact with the locals, either at the bar during the weekend, or in smaller, less touristy areas.
I am essentially a beginner at Japanese. I know simple words through watching anime. I have also learned to read some hiragana, but I primarily want to practice spoken Japanese.
A bit about myself: I am currently studying Software Engineering and will be visiting while working on my master's thesis. In my free time, I enjoy bouldering, cycling, and playing games with my friends. I also love spending time in nature, which is one of the main reasons I am excited to visit Japan (sadly Danish nature is boring).
Danish is my native language, but I am fully capable of assisting with English at a basic to intermediate level. My English grammar might be a bit stronger than my Danish, as Danish grammar can get confusing.

English language exchange Spanish language exchange |
I am a 41 y/o Danish guy who has a BA in English and Spanish business communication and an MA in English <-> Danish translation and interpreting. This is of course because I like to learn new words and grammar 🥳
I am primarily here in order to find a Spanish-speaking pen pal and improve my Spanish for fun. We wouldn't have to write each other every day, but it could be fun to exchange some language when time permits. Meeting up could be an option too if you're in Copenhagen.
I translate between English and Danish for a living, so my written proficiency in those languages is good. I could use some oral English practice now and then, so feel free to write me if you are in Copenhagen and want to meet up. I like to get plenty of exercise, so maybe we could go for a walk while chatting.

But more then anything I love meeting new people and cultures, and that is why I spend as much time as I could travelling after high school. I went to 5 continents and over 40 countries. Other then that I love playing sports and take great pride in activities. For now I am studying marine engineering in Lyngby and setting down in Copenhagen for some time:) I would love to meet a person that I could meet(maybe) once per week, that could teach me Spanish and in return I could help improve their english or danish;) Hit me up!
