hi! My name is Martin and I am graduate student in biophysics. I am 27 yo.
I enjoy languages, I speak French and German at intermediate level, I am fluent in English and I am native of Czech. My goal now is to become conversational in Dutch by summer. I already understand most of spoken and written word and have some basics in grammar. Now it is all about putting this into practice!
In my free time I do lot of different sports, enjoy going for a swim to the sea, reading, and longboarding in Holland. I really like my work so lot of my time goes there :).
Looking forward to meet you!
Hi :) I am Barbara (the short version is Barča in Czech). I learned English in school, but I don't believe in myself with speaking and generally in grammar, also extending my vocabulary isn´t a bad idea either.
I study at Masaryk University in Brno, so struggling with English in my studies was another reason to sign up here. I am looking forward to finding more confidence in English language and maybe find new international friends and learn some about their culture.
Hello. My name is Petra. My parents moved to Canada from Czechoslovakia when was two years old. I am currently a stay-at-home parent. But I love studying languages more than anything. I want to improve my Czech, but I have no one to speak Czech with here in Canada. My hobbies are caring for animals (rodents and fish) and singing.
I am Rebeca Byšková, student of sinology (just started, I am a first year).
I love languages, however after returning from Olomouc to Prague I am cut of from my friends with whom I practiced them and I am looking for such people here :)
Czech is my native language, my English is semi-fluent, I spent 6 months in Mexico therefore I can speak Spanish and in Chinese I understand more than I speak. In Japanese and Korean I only know few phrases but I would like to correct that and improve in them as well. :)
My hobbies include walking, biking, swimming, writing stories and reading books.
I would love to try rock climbing and if I could find people with which I could go hiking that would be amazing (hiking all alone is fine but not as much fun as when you can go with friends)...
I am very friendly and talk a lot, not to forget I love cooking and learning how to cook new dishes.
!!!!! **I WON'T RESPOND IF YOU SAY ONLY HI/HELLO** !!!

Hi 🙂 I am a Czech student of psychology and I am looking for someone who is rather patient to help me learn a new language. Since my aspiration is to study for my PhD. in South Korea, I should practise and learn as much as possible to be able to communicate and be a part of the local community. I am quite easy going and very talkative but I swear I will let you speak your mind as well (sarcasm is also one of my specialities 😉 ).
