Description
Who We Are
Hello and welcome! We are the Alberts family from Port Edward, a beautiful coastal town on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Our family – Erik and Dee, along with our two daughters Kiara (16) and Cassy (12) – loves meeting new people, sharing our culture, and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
We run a full English immersion homestay where students of all ages can live and learn in a safe, welcoming, and family-centered environment. Our home is spacious with a big garden, swimming pool, and is within walking distance of two beaches – the perfect place to relax and learn English in a natural setting.
As part of our immersion program, students are not only taught English in daily lessons, but also practice it through real-life conversations, family meals, fun activities, and local excursions. From visiting Lake Eland and the Red Desert to exploring local markets, coffee farms, and adventure activities, every day is a chance to learn while having fun.
With more than 26 years of experience in education, hospitality, and cultural exchange, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, engaging environment where students feel at home while improving their English skills.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home, sharing our South African lifestyle, and helping you build confidence in English – while making memories that last a lifetime. 🌍✨
