Hello, I'm Armando, and I speak Spanish and English fluently. I like to read, play chess, dance, work out, and listen to music. I've been seriously studying German for one year and I've been seriously studying Russian for over two years in the long life pursuit of becoming fluent. I want to learn the language since many of my friends and former coworkers speak it. I live north of Seattle, Washington, USA. I love to travel the world and have visited 11 countries including Ukraine ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ and Russia ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ. I'm serious about learning Russian and German. I want to practice every day and need a reliable friend to practice even if it's just for 15-30 mins every day. Time difference for me is not a big problem.

I'm a doctor in Seattle. Married with one adult son. I've recently started learning improv performance. I had planned a trip to Japan in 2020 but that got cancelled by COVID. Hoping to go in winter 2025 and would love to be able to manage some casual conversation. I've been learning some basic grammar and kanji with WaniKani but haven't had a chance for conversation practice.

I'm a native of Osaka, Japan, currently living in the US. My French is at an intermediate level. I can understand most of a French news broadcast, but I'd really like to work on my speaking skills. My Korean is at a basic level; I can't really hold a conversation yet, but I'm actively studying. I'm fluent in English, having worked in the US for most of my adult life. If you're a native speaker of Korean or French, and are studying Japanese beyond the basic level, I'd love to do a language exchange. We can try a couple of language exchange sessions to see if we're a good fit. I am available on Skype, LINE, Kakaotalk, Whatsapp, Google Meet, or Zoom - whichever works best for you. Thanks!

Hello! I'm 35 years old, and I make my living writing about science for non-specialist audiences. I studied the Spanish language in college, and lived abroad in Spain for a year. After a long break, I returned to Spain over the last few years, and found my Spanish to be quite rusty! Upon returning from my most recent trip, I feel motivated to make sure I speak enough Spanish to maintain a high level. I'm a native English speaker - and speak a little Bosnian, too :). I'd love to find a native Spanish speaker that I can get to know through natural, organic conversations where we help one another with our respective language goals. I don't need anyone with prior teaching experience, just someone who is patient and happy to have conversations. Outside of work, I spend most of my time rock climbing or training for rock climbing. Beyond that, I also enjoy writing, reading, and connecting with others.
