Hello everyone, I'm a native German speaker and a language freak. I've been working on my English intensively for about 3 years now (my English education at school was poor, since I grew up in the former GDR, the eastern part of the formerly devided country). Meanwhile, I think, it has improved a lot and I feel quite confident with it. But I'm still a learner, who makes mistakes. The grammar is not my best friend yet, because I only learned the most things by doing. Although the pronunciation of new words very often succeeds instinctively, that doesn't always work. I'd love to assist others with German in a conversational way to not get worse again and improve. I'm a huge fan of the Irish accents that are spoken more in the south of Ireland and around Dublin, but my own English is, I guess, a wild mix of everything from everywhere. I see English as a lingua franca, as kind of my door to the world, to other cultures. I love playing with language and language(s) and also like poetry, but don't know much of poetry in English yet. Besides language, my interests are manifold. I do some sports, I love nature. And I started learning to play the bodhrán. So, I think, there will always be a topic to talk about. If I didn't scare you off and you wanna give us a go, then hit me up, Antje
