Hello! My name is Daniel, and I’m delighted to connect with fellow language enthusiasts here. Originally from the beautiful country of Croatia, I’ve been calling the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington my home for the past 25 years. I’m 38 years young and live with my adorable 5 cats and 2 dogs who keep life interesting!
My academic journey in English and Applied Linguistics has been quite fulfilling. I’ve spent 5 amazing years teaching English as a Second Language at the University level, where I discovered my passion for languages and cultural exchange.
Professionally, I currently lead a dynamic team at Amazon, focusing on managing Enterprise accounts with a particular interest in assisting non-profit organizations. I am currently working towards my MBA at Boston University.
When it comes to languages, I’m fluent in English, and strong in Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian. I’m thrilled to offer my expertise in English and Croatian and equally excited to learn Chinese Mandarin or Tibetan. My goal is to improve as I plan a trip to visit China and Tibet in the coming years.
In my free time, you’ll find me indulging in a variety of hobbies. I love horse riding, boating for a good catch, and hiking with my dogs through the scenic trails around Seattle.
I’m looking forward to making new connections and exchanging our language skills. If you’re interested in practicing English and can help me with Chinese Mandarin or Tibetan, I’d be thrilled to chat with you!

Hello, ahoj, bok! :)
For anyone who's looking for help with Croatian language, feel free to send me a message! :) I am fluent in English and will gladly help you, as long as you know some basics. I am actually a professor of Croatian language and I enjoy helping foreigners with silly Croatian grammar. ;)
Pozdrav!

Hello world! My name is Jelena and I come from Croatia, but I currently live in Germany. My goal is to become fluent in Spanish and German and I can offer my help in learning English and (if there is actually somebody) Croatian. :)
German and I are long-time acquaintances but never got to the point of calling each other friends. Since I recently moved to Germany, I decided now is the perfect time to change that. Unfortunately, everybody speaks English at work so I don't have any excuse to talk in German.
Spanish, on the other hand, immediately became my friend, but there is still a long way to go.
In my free time, I like to travel, do yoga, read books, cook, collect vinyl records and hang out with my friends. I can always talk about food, music and movies.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Almost 50, time goes really fast older i get. Anyway, looking here to practice languages, keeping my English alive and try to make my German alive, i learned it in school, yet forgot almost everything. And for sure meeting new people is always cool.
I do like traveling when got time and money, fast walking, old RPG games, metal, punk/hc music, vintage things and art, sleeping and daydreaming - i need lots of time to recharge batteries.
