Description
Hi!
I am Gianmaria, I was born in Italy and lived in London for the past 14 years.
I live in West London (W12/W6 area)
What I can offer in terms of exchange is Italian (my native language) and French.
I studied and lived in Paris for 6 years and I am fluent in French although I am not so used to writing in it anymore. For this reason, I believe to be more suited to exchange in French with someone who mainly wants to converse rather than getting into the technicalities of grammar.
For the best part of a decade I have been telling everyone I know that I was about to learn Spanish, and now I think I might be ready. I would like to find someone in the West London area available for a weekly coffee. This someone would ideally be patient and not entirely without sense of humour. I am a translator, sometimes book scout, and I am interested in all things literature, movies, museums (etc etc). I took a brief Spanish course a while ago at the Cervantes Institute, but as a native Italian speaker I found it easier than my mostly British classmates, and felt I needed a different approach.
I also would like to improve my writing in English, so if anyone with writing skills wants to indulge me that would be great!
thanks g
