Neuroscience researcher living in Paris, language learner by choice, and professional overthinker by training.

I’m interested in languages, philosophy of mind, history, different cultures, good food, strange facts, and spontaneous deep conversations.

I speak French, English and Turkish fluently, and I’m currently working on my Spanish and Japanese. I’m also always curious about how people actually speak in everyday life, slang, expressions, jokes, all the things textbooks usually forget. Oh I'm a big nerd for etymology of words, their roots, how they came to be, it's fascinating.

I’m here to practice languages, meet people from different backgrounds, and hopefully make a few real friends along the way. If you enjoy curious conversations, we’ll probably get along.
