Hi - I'm a Registered Nurse interested in Public Health, epidemiology, immunization and workforce planning. I play the harp, violin, and recorder (badly) and the piano, flute, cello, guitar, and clarinet even worse.

My husband and I are looking to move to Europe (probably Budapest) in 6 years, and we want to have at least the basics of Hungarian by then.

I am fascinated by patterns (my first university degree was in mathematics and physics), and languages. I have a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), but have patchy knowledge and ability in other languages. We got by in Europe a few years ago, when we spent 2 months across 4 countries.
My knowledge of French is best, but I don't get to practice any language often, being in Australia where English is the official and dominant language.

So that is why I am here! I will need my language partners to be patient, please - and I am happy to do the same for you in the one language I know pretty well, English!
