Most language teachers tell you to memorize words and grammar rules, which is called the "skill-building" approach. But this method doesn't really help you become fluent. Instead, I want to use the "immersion method" where you learn by exposing yourself to real language conversations. It takes longer, but I want to use immersion to learn real Japanese.
