Hiii! Salut!
I'm an ESL teacher from Canada happy to language exchange with a native French speaker. 😁
As I want to be a bilingual Canadian some day, I'd prefer conversing in Québécois French. But if not, no worries 😊
I studied French in university and got to a point where I was almost fluent. I lived/studied in Quebec for a summer and then worked in a French daycare for a year after that. However, for many reasons, I've barely spoken French since then. :( it's been about 4 years and I have a lot of rust to shake off!
A bit about me:
I'm a 27 year old living in Southwestern Ontario with my husband and rabbit, Nellie (she's in my dp :D ).
I love all things art, baseball, music, and outdoor adventures!
I'm a big nerd for TV shows such as: Schitt's Creek, Agents of Shield, Corner Gas, Avatar (Last Airbender and Korra), and The Office. I would love for someone to suggest me francophone TV shows :D
Here's what I envision for practicing together: 1 hour phone call/video call weekly or biweekly. Prepare a list of conversation questions (theme of your choice). Then, ask each other the questions and make notes of each others' errors. Afterwards (or in the moment if preferred), we can brief each other on language points to work on.
