Hey - Not wanting to attend a group meeting of Spanish speakers......but a walk, coffee and a language exchange to assist my Spanish conversation skills would be epic ! I have a basic understanding and probably at early stages of sentence construction but I need help ! Wanting to learn for the social aspect not business .....find Spanish people most accommodating and friendly and its inspired to learn ! can you help ? Maybe I will progress to the group events I see advertised in the city but 1:1 for now....P.S. why could one not find British English on the drop down box lol Hola ! Soy Brian de Edimburgo pero viajar a Espana mucho - Quiero hablar mas en español y conocer amigos mas aquí y allí en España. ? Puedes ayudarme ?

I've been living in Scotland for 8 years now, but I'm originally from the US. I lived in Boston before I moved to Edinburgh. My family is Chinese (via Taiwan), but I never learned to speak Chinese other than a year of Mandarin at uni. So I'm on the slow journey to rectify that. Would love to meet up with someone local to practise my baby Chinese with someone who needs a bit of English practice because, not gonna lie, the convo will mostly be in English!! I love.... crocheting and knitting, especially jumpers and cardigans / travelling, most recently to Corfu and hopefully Japan next / reading historical fiction and science fiction / dining out and sometimes cooking.
