hello my name is Henry I am - Australian Born Chinese I live in Brisbane Australia. I want to learn to become conversational competent in mandarin. I want to focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing (in that order if possible) I can speak basic Cantonese - I would also like to improve that also but I prioritise learning Mandarin first. My hobbies are photography, travelling and technology Something interesting: I am travelling to China in December for a holiday, and I want to practice my mandarin so that I can survive and enjoy my experience. I am friendly, patient and comfortable to be around. I want to find people within my time zone (Australian Eastern Time) and practice around my evening pm. I would like to do about 1 hour per session. This is not a dating site - so no flirting. I'm serious about my learning, but I also want to make it fun and enjoyable at the same time. I have no issue speaking to someone younger (less than 30) my experience has proven to me that younger people are less reliable.
