Hello!
After a long career as an economist, I'm easing into a new career as a part-time English teacher. I'm especially interested in helping students or working professionals with pronunciation, business English, and English for academic purposes (e.g., preparing for study abroad, presenting at conferences, reading academic texts, etc.). I'm also curious about Japanese (I only know half of hiragana and maybe 50 words) and Korean (I've learned Hangul and know maybe 200 words, zero grammar).
Actually, I was already an English teacher for two years long ago (1988-90) and now I'm going back where I started. I have a BA in English Lit and two graduate degrees in natural resource economics, so I'm happy to discuss your academic ambitions if you have any. Over the years, I've studied Latin, German, Bahasa Indonesia, and Spanish, but I still have a lot to learn about all of these.

I’m a retired professional that is enjoying cooking, gardening, working out, and spending time with the ones I love. I’m a US native that grew up with Spanish speaking parents that wanted to integrate into the US, and made us answer in English as opposed to Spanish. So, while I understand Spanish, I’m now studying to speak it. I’m at a beginner level of speaking and would like to help a Spanish speaker with English while they help me with practicing my Spanish.

"Hello, my name is Muhammad Elman. I have successfully passed the JLPT N3 level and am eager to further improve my Japanese language skills. While I have a solid foundation in Japanese, I struggle with fluent speaking.
As a native English speaker, I'd be delighted to assist anyone seeking to improve their English language skills. In return, I kindly request language exchange support to enhance my Japanese proficiency.
If you're interested in practicing English while helping me improve my Japanese, I'd be thrilled to collaborate. Let's support each other in achieving our language goals!"

Hello!
I'm currently living in Belgium and I really want to improve my Portuguese. Being able to hold a conversation would be great.
Regarding Chinese I don't know anything yet but I'm interested to get a first interaction and see how that goes.
I love taking walks while talking about just anything in life, preferably in a green environment, like the forest.
My native tongue is Dutch but I speak fluent French and English.
