Hello! I've been learning Mandarin for about 2 years, with a teacher. My wife is Chinese – I'm learning so that I can communicate with her mother and friends (and dog? ;) ). I was learning Japanese before I switched to Mandarin (my Japanese RIP).
I'm native Spanish, and I still regularly visit my parents in Barcelona. I also have a high-level of Catalan.
I'm a former Software Engineer, now Product Designer (UX/UI) for a startup whose mission is to empower the world's transition to a carbon net zero economy. We are the best at helping companies with complex supply chains decarbonize. If you happen to work in procurement, I'd love to learn more about how that department works!
On the side, I have a few side-projects: I'm making a course about learning how to make multiplayer online games. I'm making a virtual pet simulator / tamagotchi phone game (with the help of my cousin). And I've made a groceries automation app.
My hobbies are: boardgames, videogames, longboarding (freeride), chess, DJing (I just picked this up!), creating videogames, working on side-projects, reading self-improvement books, playing the guitar, drums, piano, singing (specially Linkin Park songs – RIP throat), badminton, padel, karting. Did I say boardgames?
I would love a partner who I can meet maybe once a week after work for language exchange, in person. I work between Monument and Tower Hill, and live close to Mile End. I'm good at keeping a conversation rolling!

Me encanta aprender idiomas, y ahora que dispongo de tiempo para hacerlo, me encantaría mejorar la fluidez a nivel oral del idioma inglés. Mi nivel actual de inglés es un B2 (tengo un certificado de la universidad y el IELTS9h). Este año me mudo a Australia, y para ello necesito practicar la conversación oral. Por lo tanto, estoy buscando a alguien que este dispuesto/a a ayudarme con este objetivo. Por mi parte, podría ayudar con los idiomas español y/o el catalán, ya que son mis idiomas nativos.
Soy estudiante de Psicología, trabajo como integradora social en una fundación con personas con enfermedades mentales. Me encanta viajar, la naturaleza, los animales, el baile y el deporte.
