I am from the US.
I am retired. I am married. No children - just a golden retriever.
I like to cook. I love the outdoors. I fish and hunt although now I mostly sit on my camp porch and watch for wildlife.
I speak English and have been studying Italian. I have been to Italy several times and have family in Maiori near Salerno.
They speak NO ENGLISH. This is a problem!
So I am trying to become more proficient for when I return (shortly).

I live in southern California. I'm an academic and career counselor working with college students and established professionals. I love to travel and learn about other cultures.
I've been learning Korean for more than 3 years by taking classes and self-study. I have visited Korea three times.
I'm at the middle intermediate level. I would like to improve my speaking proficiency by practicing basic, everyday conversation with native Korean speakers. I also want to improve my listening comprehension. My goal is to become comfortable in basic, everyday Korean, not become a perfectly native level speaker.
Ideally, we would meet once or twice per week to practice. I have my own learning material I can share. I'm happy to help you with English speaking and writing, too! I have a lot of experience with university-level writing and business communication.

Hi. I'm looking for an online pen pal who will help me learn Spanish because I'm a complete beginner. At first, I thought it would be useful to learn Spanish while I make online friends because of my location. Recently, it has also become necessary that I can hopefully become fluent, starting by focusing on being able to read and write it. Any help would be appreciated.
