I value spending time with family and connecting with friends. I appreciate a decent quality of life and memorable travel experiences. After graduating from university in Vancouver, I moved to Calgary for career advancement. Life is challenging, but I’m content and grateful for my blessings. I wish to meet kind-hearted individuals for language and cultural exchange. Please don’t contact me if you use other people’s photos as your own profile picture. Thank-you!
hey I am from Canada I am currently learning korean, I am a beginner though and I could use help from a native speaker. I speak English and French so I can help anyone in exchange if you want to learn either French or English and help a girl out please message me.
I am a Swedish girl who loves horses, archery and cats. I also love history and languages and my dream is to one day study the Nordic languages, their history and how they evolved from old Norse. Therefore I am looking for some nice people who can aid me in my quest for learnig Faroese, Islandic and Danish or Norweigan (preferably Danish). In exchange I can help you learn Swedish which, of course, is my native language but I am also quite adept at english so I could help out with that too. I am looking forward to start learning and hopefully make a few new friends in the process.
I plan to teach in Japan within a year and want to be reasonably proficient in the language before I move to work. I can read the occasional novel in Japanese with the help of a kanji dictionary and understand watch Japanese television, film, anime, etc. without subtitles. Given the option, I play most of my video games in Japanese as well, though this can definitely slow my performance in text-heavy role-playing games. I've taught English for several years, both as a hobby and professionally.
Of late, I am free from 3 to 9 AM GMT (which would be 8 PM to 2 AM locally [PST] or 1 PM to 7 PM in Japan).
I am a student and am currently learning Spanish. I took up to level 4 but took a 2 year hiatus before needing to speak it again. I also have familiarity with Arabic and Hindi, but would like to learn more. Any help to learn the more subtle aspects (mood tense, colloquial, etc.) of these languages would be very helpful, but a refresher on nitty gritty grammar rules would also be immensely appreciated. I'd be happy to help you with English in exchange (its my L1), especially if you would like to get into formal/research/academic writing, but informal chat is okay too (and just as important in some cases)! Feel free to contact me, I'd like to make new friends as well!
I am a 33-year-old male living in London. I am a native English speaker of Indian origin. I would like to find a Japanese speaker with whom I can do a language exchange. I have been studying Japanese in London for about a year. I think I am at JLPT N5 level.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, long walks and watching TV. I recently finished watching the BBC drama Bodyguard. It was incredible!
If you would like to become Language exchange partners with me, please get in touch.
