I am seeking for English-Japanese language exchange partners for Language exchange purpose ONLY. Non-native English speakers are also welcome.
I have this plan in my mind. We can bring up some materials that we are interested in and take turn explaining each other the true meaning and cultural background that lies behind them. The material could be a newspaper or internet article, a book or comic, a brochure or poster etc. Despites many emerging powerful technologies such as Google Translate, apps and AI, I still believe that interacting with real people is the most efficient way to learn a language to its core. I can help you learn or practice your Japanese language.
I live in Ross Township and I commute to work in downtown Pittsburgh every weekday. Not every week, but I think can make myself available from 4:30pm-6:30pm on weekday except Wednesday, and from 9am-5pm on weekend. I prefer to meet in-person, 1 hour weekly or per bi-weekly, at any public libraries, such as Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, university libraries or meeting spaces, or even a local cafe. We can start with an online (Skype) conversation first for a couple of times, before we feel comfortable enough to meet.
