Hello! I am a Canadian fille au pair living with a young family here in Metz until the summer of 2019, and I am looking for ways to meet new people and improve my conversational French. My level is somewhere around B1, so I am able to understand quite a bit of French, but I'm very slow at responding and would like more opportunities to practice in a relaxed environment. Some things that I love to talk about are languages and cultures (obviously), social philosophy (for example, asking questions like 'How should our society make room for physical and intellectual disability?), religions (everything from Buddhism to Christian Anabaptism), music, theatre, dance, books... I have many interests and love sharing them with people who are equally passionate!
