My name is Kaitlyn. I'm 16 years old and I live in in the USA.
I am looking for a language exchange partner to study Korean and Chinese (Mandarin).
I'd be happy to help you to learn English in exchange.
Hi! I am interested in all languages but would like to start with Mandarin. I really only know "ni hao" but am very excited to learn more. If you are a native speaker and would like to learn American English, let me know :0)
I'm a bit of a grammar nerd & am always correcting people (in my head). Look forward to getting started. Thank you!
Hi--I'm Randall. I'm an (unemployed) experimental physicist greatly interested in pursuing academic research in Japan, hence my interest in learning the language. But that's not the only reason I want to learn: I am fascinated (or even obsessed) with East Asian history--in particular the Asuka, Nara, Heian, and prehistoric periods of ancient Japan. This interest has led me to read English translations of the Heike Monogatari, Genji Monogatari, Ise Monogatari, and other historic works of literature. I'd love to discuss these with you!
My hobbies include watching sumo, gardening, visiting shrines (during the times I'm lucky enough to be in Japan), reading about history, and watching historically-inspired Asian dramas. I can only speak English and very mediocre Japanese, but I hope we can learn a lot from each other! A dream of mine is to learn a dialect of Japanese other than Tokyo-ben.
Also, I apologize for writing my entire profile in English--my Japanese is too clumsy!
Hello, I am living and working in New York City. I would like to practice French to improve my skills. I speak Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese as well as English and I love traveling. Aside from learning languages, I enjoy comics, cooking, tv and movies, and just chatting.
I am a native English speaker, and am interested in European culture and languages. My principal goal is to improve my ability to speak German, and improve at Swiss German as well. Recently I've decided to try to bring back my Russian a little bit (which I studied at university a long time ago), and also to start learning Farsi.
Hi! I recently graduated and moved to Boston to work as a software engineer. I wish to talk with native English speaker to practice my English and get to know more about American culture. I am a native Mandarin speaker, and I helped some English speakers to learn Mandarin when I was still at school. I will also be very glad to share my knowledge about Chinese history and culture.
Hello everyone!! I only want serious individuals who want to succeed and get better in English. Also for now I only want individuals who can speak Chinese and Japanese fluently. I will do my best to be helpful, but only if you are serious about helping me in return.:-) No to only help yourself language exchange partners. We help each other equally!!
Hi! I would like to meet Italian women who are very patient with my extremely beginner Italian language skills. I teach English to children in China and love teaching and I love my students. My husband also teaches English and college level business to non-English speakers. We love Italy and have a very big family there but unfortunately we do not speak Italian even though my husband is a citizen.
I enjoy traveling, cooking, and meeting new people and look forward to meeting you too!
