Hi! I'm 26 years old and I'm from Finland. Currently I work as a pediatric nurse. I speak Finnish, English, some Swedish and I studied Spanish for 3 years in high school (I understand more than I can speak). I'd like to learn Korean, and maybe talk to someone in Spanish so I wouldn't forget the language completely. Would also be nice to just speak English with someone :) As an opposite to my busy work atmosphere, I enjoy relaxing in my free time, for example playing games or watching series. Hola, soy una chica española que acaba de terminar la carrera de Educación Infantil hace poco. Así que estoy en la transición de haber terminado mi grado a la de buscar trabajo, por eso me interesa el ampliar y mejorar mi nivel de inglés. Tanto a un nivel personal como laboral, también tiene una historia de trasfondo porque ahora mismo vivo en Finlandia. Eso me lleva a tener que hablar inglés pero no todo lo que yo quisiera para sentir que de verdad estoy mejorando. A parte del tema laboral, me considero una persona creativa porque me gusta dibujar y hacer manualidades, también va de la mano con lo que estudié (Educación Infantil). Además de eso me gusta leer novelas de fantasía, viajar, dar paseos por el bosque, hacer deporte, los animales (perros y gatos),ver series y películas. Todo ello, son gustos normalitos, pero si sientes curiosidad o ganas de hacer un intercambio de idiomas conmigo, estaría encantada y me ayudarías mucho. Un saludo. :)

Hi, I am Finnish language enthusiast currently living in Helsinki. I would personally consider my self a self-taught linguist. I am native Swedish and Finnish Speaker (C2), have C1 in English, and B1 in Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. My Vietnamese is quite poor and German is okay A2. I am aiming to pass all the JLPT-tests. I will start from N5. in 2025 I plan to attend HSK3 and maybe HSKK middle level. At some point I would also like to have a grade 3 in TOPIK (Korean language test) I have been to university exchange in South Korea twice (Hallym University, 08-12/2016; Kyung Hee University 08/2020-05/2021) and lately I returned from a 9 month stay attending Chinese classes at National Taiwan Normal University (08/2023-05/2024). I have also travelled to Hong Kong, Japan, and Vietnam for some 2-3 days each. Studying languages and meeting people in the process is a life style choice I made at the age of 22 (now I am 32). I am happy to help people in learning languages so if that is what you want we could meet and then I see what I can do.
