I was born in Sri Lanka 25 years ago, but I was raised in Canada. I would love to learn more about the Sri Lankan culture and surprise my family. Even though I grew up in Canada, I was still raised as a Sri Lanka respective to food, morals and mannerisms. My family for generations have only spoken English and I am looking to expand my language repertoire as well as my friends' list.
I plan on coming to Sri Lanka in the future on a yearly basis once school is finished, as a volunteer doctor. My primary intention is to learn Sinhala and Tamil. French and Japanese I learn passively via television and speaking with family. I am capable of teaching English grammar, vocabulary and how to use it contextually, so don't hesitate to contact me if you are serious. I am interested in verbal communication, so skype would be the perfect platform.
PS: Don't contact me if you can't teach me Sinhala, Japanese, Tamil, or French because I have no time to fool around. Remember this is a language exchange site.
