Heyhey! Salut ! --- Heyo! My name is David, and I live in San Francisco! I love travel and I think that meeting people through language is a wonderful lens of seeing the world differently. I have visited 28 countries from Palestine to France to Costa Rica. I like to think I'm close to fluent in French now, and it's been so rewarding using language to explore the country (le pays Basque, Bretagne, Bordeaux, la Corse, Aix-en-Provence, les Pyrénées, les Alpes, etc.). I would love to meet more locals and experience their towns/cities through their own eyes. I also love the outdoors, and have backpacked on multi-day camping trips in California, the Pyrenees, Swiss Alps, Iceland, Patagonia! I also surf and sometimes cycle, and love teaching students. If you come to San Francisco, I am more than happy to bring you camping or surfing or on any hikes! Random Facts: - I graduated from Stanford in 2017 with a degree in Computer Science and minor in history! I taught Computer Science to talented high school students in Gaza and the West Bank. - I work at Pinterest and previously interned at NASA! Saw a cool rocket launch near Los Angeles. - I love films (like “Before Sunset”) and TV (like “Friends”).

Hello all. You can call me Mia. I always wanted to learn to speak another language. I took some classes in French and Spanish but unfortunately it did not work out for me. I want to really learn French, Italian and Spanish. I can teach you both Filipino and English as well. Have a good day.

Hi, I'm Evan and I'm currently learning a few languages. I speak intermediate Spanish, most of my focus time is in Levantine Arabic, and I'm starting to use my commute time to learn some basics of Russian and French. My native language is Chinese and I've lived in the United States for 7 years, so my English is at a bilingual level. I'm working as an engineer and am an easy-going person with a variety of interests (tennis, workout, snowboarding, freediving, reading, photography). I travel a lot during my free time and was a digital nomad for a year doing a pan-europe-middle east-north Africa traveling. I want to backpack to middle Asia, middle east, and south America in the future, that's why I'm interested in learning languages in those areas. To me, the best catalyst to learn a new language is by talking to the natives (even if I know close to nothing). If you are a native speaker of the languages I'm learning, we can be language exchange partners and set up a weekly time to teach each other our mother tongues. I'd also be happy to meet with you for a casual chat, make friends and learn more about your culture :) I'm not looking for a relationship and I'm solely interested in learning new languages. Thank you!

I would like to connect with other people to talk about AI, maybe website building (I am working on an online project right now). Would you like to suggest a subject that you would like to talk about? Technology is my passion but Artificial Intelligence is changing our world behind the scenes without us even realizing. What do you think? I lived abroad most of my adult life, mostly in US (half of that time in NYC and another half in California where I live now) but I will be traveling to Poland soon (probably sometime this year). :D

I have always enjoyed learning foreign languages for travel and business. I have worked as an instructor teaching English in the past. I’m looking to practice & improve my Japanese ability with a native Japanese speaker also wanting to improve their English. I also welcome native Spanish speakers wanting to practice their English and exchange Spanish conversation.

Hi, I'm Yuki from Tokyo Japan and now living in Bay Area in US. I'm a native Japanese speaker. As my specialty is law, I always pay attention to use grammatically correct Japanese and as I'm from Tokyo, my accent is very common in Japan. I love travelling, watching animals, drinking coffee, and eating many kinds of food! I can share my knowledge and skills of Japanese, especially on field in business, law, family matters as well as Japanese culture. Also, I can adjust the way of teaching Japanese according to your learning goal. Do you want to learn casual conversations, polite way of expressions, about job interviews, writing, reading, pass Japanese exam or as one of your hobbies? Don't hesitate to tell me your preferences so that we can go forward effectively. My English level has been stopped at intermediate level for a long time. So I wish I want to get to upper level by exchanging language with Japanese language learner(s) and have a lot of fun together. I’m looking for someone who can talk with me in the daytime (9am-2pm PST). See you soon!

Hi, I'm interested in a language exchange via letters, video chat, or in person. I split my time between San Francisco (mostly) and Paris. Hobbies include making music, surfing, skating, cooking, baking, walking while reading and trying not to die, making short videos with my fake cat, trying to find Dr. Pepper and ice while traveling in different countries (if you can tell by my photo I really love Dr. Pepper), visiting botanical gardens, and learning languages. FRENCH - B2 RUSSIAN - A2 NORWEGIAN - A1 FARSI - A1 GERMAN - A1 ROMANIAN - A1 I can correct you, teach you new vocabulary, or just converse with you for your English practice in exchange for your native language. --------- Hej!

I’m a native English speaker and former ESL instructor who lives near San Francisco. I’m an advanced practice nurse who speaks fluent Spanish (although vocabulary and listening always need work). I lived abroad in Germany so my German is ok, too. Finally, I’m brushing up on my basic French, but am not proficient enough yet to have a decent conversation! Would love to exchange with someone on here!
