Hello! I'm Miki ''未希(みき)''. I moved to San Francisco from JAPAN with my husband, So I want to learn English and make friends.
I love traveling and I'm interested in all countries so I have been to more than 25 countries so far.
I love outdoor activities like camping. On the other hand, I like also indoor work. I like embroidery, handicrafts and drawing.
I wish we could have good conversation!
Hello ! My name is Ramon Berdiago and I'm a 28 year old aircraft technician that loves to travel and learn about different cultures around the world. My primary language is English but I have always felt very insecure about not being able to speak spanish. I come from a mixed background (mother is Latina and father is Filipino) so growing up, spanish was never taught to me even though I was surrounded by the language all my life growing up. When I travel to a Latin country or Spain I feel like my lack of spanish is holding me back from meeting and interacting with people. Other than that I'm a pretty easy going person that loves to read books, being outdoors, and trying delicious foods from various backgrounds.
Feel free to reach out anytime !
I'm an office administrator and currently in school (I went back after an extended leave).
I was learning Japanese in but didn't have time for it this semester so I'm practicing by myself, but it's hard when you don't use it with others often.
I've recently become interested in learning about Korean culture and how different, yet similar, the mindset is compared to my own experiences and upbringing. Also, learning the language would be a bonus!
I LOVE watching horror/sci-fi/fantasy films, boba milk tea, and listening to music! Current obsession is an oldie but a goodie. Give it a listen! You might like it.
PS. My Cantonese and Spanish are very basic and purely conversational because I'm mixed... so it's not that great. >_<

Hi! I'm learning French, and estimate being an intermediate level speaker & writer. However, I'd like to advance in order to attend a graduate degree fashion journalism program in Paris in a few years.
Hobbies: movies, museums, antiques, coffee, writing!
I'm an American-born Chinese living near San Francisco and looking to practice my Mandarin as well as meet people and make friends. I like to travel, read news, and play football. :)
Hi! I speak English fluently and Mandarin Chinese is my mother tongue. My German is rusty, the other languages are rustier but I keep improving on them through Duolingo.
I love reading, traveling (backpacking), going to sports games, and writing during my spare time. Please don't hesitate to drop a line for meet-ups/Skype. I'm rather new and friendless in SF :)
Hoping to hold on to the passion for language/cultures throughout my life!
I'm grew up with exposure to several dialects of Chinese and other languages but am only fluent in a lesser known dialect. I'd like to become proficient in both cantonese and mandarin, partially for work. I work in healthcare and improving my language abilities would greatly help.
Hey I am Ben!
I was born in Europe (French father, Spanish mother) and I lived in the UK and North America for most of my life. I used to be a researcher at University and I worked for years in the video game industry as a lead scientist. I moved to SF where I worked as an executive in companies like Facebook or Amazon. That being said, I travel a lot!
A few years ago, I had the opportunity to go to Japan, it was an amazing trip, but I realized how bad my Japanese was! So I decided to practice and make it better.
I am also interested in other Asian languages and culture. For example, I took Mandarin at school, and I would be happy to practice it again!
When I am not working I enjoy playing the guitar or the ukulele, I like to go surfing, and cooking :)
