Hi! Iโ€™m Kate. Iโ€™m a half British, half Kiwi 23 year-old and was born and raised in the UK, but have recently moved to Wellington, where I am working in the charity sector. I studied Spanish at university and spent a few months living in northern Spain last year where I completed my B2 qualification - but having not spoken Spanish in almost a year, Iโ€™m feeling like Iโ€™m losing my skills! Hi, I'm a Japanese-Chinese guy living in Wellington, New Zealand. I speak English, Japanese and Mandarin on a daily basis. I lived in Japan, China and New Zealand for quite some time but I'm not a native speaker of a particular language, haha. I used to study Spanish (have B1 cert) and German. I'm currently teaching myself Russian and calligraphy. I'd like to practice languages, conversation or human interaction in general either in person or online. I've been studying books for years, I even lived in Seoul and am married to a Korean, but I've never really practised speaking, so my Korean is still at a beginner level. I'd like to speak Korean better so that I can talk more with my wife's parents, and live in Seoul. In return, I can teach you English. Hi I'm Lara, I am originally from the UK but moved to NZ 8 years ago. My Dad in fluent in French and my mother-in-law is native French so I grew up speaking French quite often. However, since moving the other side of the world I don't often see my Dad and step-mum and stopped practicing French all together. I am now hoping to connect with someone on a regular basis to practice and regain my confidence!
